Purpose:
The Facilities Technician is responsible for the day to day facility maintenance oversight in a safe and responsible manner. This position will also provide basic IT support as needed for CA Market (Palm Springs, Banning, & Fallbrook)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibility for performing a wide variety of maintenance requirements of facility:

• Conduct general building preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs (air conditioning, plumbing, etc) according to schedule
• Assist planning and scheduling of installation, care, and repair of facilities and equipment.
• Complete and process different work order assignments and maintain service and repair records.
• Perform as contact point for building engineering, outside vendors and contractors on special projects.
• Involved in building safety like routine fire extinguisher safety check and security administration.
• Monitor and ensure repair facilities systems and technical devices directly supporting test and building operations.
• General maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, repairing doors and hardware, plunge clogged toilets and repair faucets, etc.
• Ensure cleanliness of facility
  Participate in Emergency Response Team.
  Provide IT support as needed:
  • Perform simple network changes and installations under guidance/support of company IT support team.
  • This could include plugging devices into network switches, run patch cables,
  • Be available when an Internet Service Provider needs to install a new circuit or power reboot a modem.
    . Requirements:
    
    Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience with repairs utilizing contractor vendors preferred
    • Experienced as a competent User of information technology necessary.
    • Two years' experience working in the facilities function in a medical related environment.
    • Must have a valid Class C California Drivers' License, acceptable driving record without restrictions
    • Must be able to perform physical activities, such as but not limited to, lifting (up to 50 pounds unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
