Job Description:

Essential Job Functions * Ability to demonstrate the belief that all people can and do recover. * Cultivate connectedness to program services by actively engaging participants in the physical and environmental areas. * Answers telephones and acts as receptionist for agency or program; relays messages in a variety of formats, to appropriate staff in a timely manner. * Ensures the cleanliness of the reception and lobby areas. * Model, support and actively participates in the implementation of the Agency's Mission Statement, Values and Philosophy * Performs other related duties as required or assigned, including but not limited to projects and data entry. Documentation * Documents relevant and required information and services provided in the identified service record (electronic or otherwise) assuring continuity of care as a tool for communication with other team members. * Maintain and observe all HIPAA regulations that apply. * Provide timely, quality and accurate documentation in accordance with program Safety/ Physical Environment * Participates as a team member to provide a safe recovery environment. Utilizes infection control and other safety standards. Contributes to the cleanliness of the work place. * Utilizes effective positive engagement and conflict resolution skills. * Fosters personal and environmental wellness by taking care of self and maintaining environmental wellness by reporting infection and on the job injuries. * Assesses emergency situations, notifies supervisor of actual or potential challenges, exercises judgment in stressful conditions and responds calmly and quickly. Displays teamwork during emergencies. * Influence and improve operations which are not under direct control. * Use problem solving methods and critical thinking to continuously improve operations. Education, Licenses and Experience * High school diploma or GED. * Basic computer skills. * Successfully completed Peer Employment Training Course. * Lived experience receiving mental health services. Additional Requirements, Certifications and Qualifications * Successful completion of Multi-State criminal background check * Completion of Therapeutic Options Training If driving is required: * Must be 25 years of age to drive for company business; * Must possess a valid California Drivers license; * Must be able to fulfill all of the requirements in the Driver's Safety policy Working Conditions * Works in general office environment, behavioral health clinical setting, and necessary areas in the community. May have contact * With individuals that are agitated or confused which is mitigated by de-escalation training. Must possess visual and audio skills to complete job duties. Schedule may include long hours, weekends and travel throughout geographic region. Physical Requirements * Works in a standard office environment with some exposure to hazardous situations. Physical demands may include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands and/or fingers. Occasional sitting, standing, walking, driving, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds. * Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities, who are otherwise qualified, to perform the primary function.SDL2017
