Job Description:

We are currently seeking a *Customer Service Representative *to join our team in our *Carson, CA *location.

*Job Summary: *

This position is responsible for handling customer service issues and related duties in the Customer Service department. This includes answering and resolving customer inquiries and processing orders. Will also be tasked to handle general office duties as needed.

*Job Duties and Responsibilities: *

_Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned._

_*Customer Service*_

* Ensure the timely and accurate resolution of customer service issues, identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction while including appropriate parties in the decision-making process
* Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods / tools
* Manage incoming calls, emails, and cases while looking for ways to better and more efficiently address customer needs
* Drive customer service excellence while handling customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
* Follow and build communication procedures, guidelines and policies
* Keep detailed records of customer interactions, process and ensure accurate customer records
* Establish firm understanding of products, processes, and customers, and provide training and workshops
* Track and analyze data and build guidelines for customer service
* Other customer service tasks as needed

_*Order Processing*_

* Assist in all aspects of order management to include order processing, creation and validation of shipping documents, logging, labeling, tracking and proof of delivery, and conducting and resolving investigations regarding issues with orders
* Other order processing tasks as needed

*Job Requirements: *

_*Education and Experience*_

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Experience with ecommerce customer support and understanding of the industry
* Proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook

_*Abilities and Skills*_

* Analytical reasoning skills and judgment as well as great attention to detail. Problem solving ability in a complex environment
* Exceptional customer focus with ability to understand customer needs
* Possess strong oral and written communications skills as well as presentation skills
* Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
* Ability to think strategically and execute to get results
* Proven commitment to achieve goals (both short-term and long-term)
* Customer centric with the ability to balance customer benefits and business goals effectively
* Have the ability to effectively interact with people at all staff levels with a demonstrated "can-do" approach and strong customer service focus
* Have the ability to complete and follow-up on tasks in a timely manner and able to prioritize workload effectively
* Strong ability to delegate and drive results through accountability
* Take responsibilities seriously and actively contribute to the team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
