Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Telemetry nursing required. License: Valid Nursing License required in-hand when applying. Certifications: BLS, CPI, ACLS, NIHSS required in-hand when applying. Must-Have: CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute. EPIC experience noted in work history. Two supervisor references required when applying. Description: The registered nurse will provide care to telemetry patients during the night shift. A focus on managing and interpreting dysrhythmias is essential. Skills in peripheral line management and oxygen administration are necessary. Experience with telemetry monitoring is required. The nurse will manage cardiac drips and vasoactive drips. Knowledge of post-cardiac procedures and hemodialysis management is important. The position involves work with patients of various age groups, including adolescents and geriatrics. Experience in managing complex medical conditions such as stroke and renal failure is highly preferred. The nurse will also be responsible for the care and management of patients with feeding tubes, surgical drains, and chest tubes.
