Contract Medical Physicist – Radiation Therapy Location: Vista, CA

Medical Physicist Assignment Details - Duration: 13 weeks -
Schedule: Monday – Friday - Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Hours
per Week: 40 - Call: None - Travel Between Sites: Required as
needed within the Scripps system Required Qualifications - ABR
Board Certified Medical Physicist - Active California Radiation
Physics License - Experience with Varian equipment/software,
including: - TrueBeam - IX - ARIA - Eclipse - Familiarity with Sun
Nuclear systems - Ability to interview promptly - Provide earliest
available start date Key Responsibilities - Perform treatment
machine commissioning and acceptance testing - Calibration and
maintenance of dosimetry and imaging systems - Conduct mathematical
dose calculations and physics assessments - Support treatment
planning in collaboration with dosimetrists - Implement and
maintain QA/QC and radiation safety programs - Ensure compliance
with regulatory and accreditation standards - Participate in
development and revision of safety and patient care policies -
Provide physics consultation related to patient treatment planning
- Contribute to performance improvement and safety initiatives
