SummaryThe role focuses on providing patient-centered rheumatologic
care using innovative diagnostic tools and personalized treatment
plans. The position offers opportunities for collaboration in
clinical practice, research, and education with a mission to
improve outcomes and advance the field of rheumatology. Essential
Clinical Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients
with arthritis, autoimmune disorders, osteoporosis, and other
musculoskeletal diseases Treat a wide range of rheumatic conditions
(200), including: Rheumatoid arthritis Lupus Gout Osteoarthritis
Tendinitis Sports-related rheumatic disorders Develop
evidence-based, individualized treatment plans Interpret labs,
radiographs, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic tests
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (primary care,
orthopedics, PT, pain management, etc.) Participate in clinical
research and quality improvement projects Contribute to medical
education and cross-departmental knowledge sharing Ensure
compliance with federal, state, HIPAA, and OSHA requirements Uphold
organizational values of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
Other related duties as assigned Required Education & Experience
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology Valid,
unrestricted California medical license (or ability to obtain)
Strong clinical experience with autoimmune, musculoskeletal, and
connective tissue disorders Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and
state/federal healthcare regulations Demonstrated ability to work
in collaborative clinical, research, or academic environments
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to advancing
patient-centered, innovative healthcare Proficiency with EMRs, data
