We are seeking an experienced Locums General Surgery/Acute Care Surgery (ACS) Physician to provide coverage at a Level III Trauma Center in the Fresno, California area. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 10 shifts per month, competitive pay, travel coverage. Position Details: Shift Schedule: 10 shifts per month Shift Type: 24-hour shifts (call and surgical coverage) Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center Compensation: $500,000 Responsibilities: Provide emergency general surgery and acute care surgical services Perform surgical procedures and manage operative and non-operative patients Collaborate closely with trauma, emergency medicine, and hospitalist teams to ensure comprehensive patient care Participate in consultations, admissions, and inpatient rounding Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system Requirements: Board Certified in General Surgery Active California Medical License BLS & ACLS Certification - required Previous experience in a trauma or acute care surgery setting preferred
