Agitation-Sedation Scale - Sheath Removal and Monitoring - Vascular
Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose) Description: We are seeking
an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a travel nursing
position. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of nursing
experience, including travel experience. Candidates must possess an
active CA License. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS.
EPIC experience is essential. Nurses will need to demonstrate
skills in Angioplasty and Carotid Stenting. Experience with Upper
and Lower Extremity Angiography is necessary. Candidates must be
adept at interpreting and managing dysrhythmias. Knowledge in
pressure ulcer assessment and prevention is required. Understanding
of radiation and laser safety protocols is a must. Familiarity with
the Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale is necessary. Sheath removal
and monitoring capabilities are essential. Candidates should have
experience with vascular closure systems such as Perclose and
StarClose. This position will require floating within the hospital
based on patient census. On-call duties will include one day during
the week and one weekend every five weeks. We are looking for a
dedicated and skilled nurse to join our team.
