About The Position We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Aug 4, 2025. This role involves providing care in a mobile clinic with a daily schedule from Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm, primarily serving Spanish-speaking patients, although language support is available. Job Details - Location: California - Start Date: Aug 4, 2025 - LOA: 60 days - Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician Assistant - Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm with a break from 2pm-3pm Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive patient care within a family practice scope in a mobile clinic setting - Manage a significant portion of Spanish-speaking patients; translation services are available - Utilize the Epic EMR system to document patient interactions - Ensure adherence to all necessary protocols and licensing requirements - Drive and operate a mobile clinic across designated areas Additional Information - Candidates must have an active California DEA and Furnishing license - Board certification in Family Medicine is required - Prior locum experience and experience in FQHC/Rural Health/IHS or similar settings is essential - Recent experience in a Family Practice setting is mandatory Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
