Travel - Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU/Pre-Post Op

Job Description:

The PACU Registered nurse is responsible for the daily care of patients that have just undergone anesthesia during a procedures. PACU Registered nurses take care of a wide variety of patients, from adults to children and play an vital role in the recovery of the patient.Responsibilities:As a PACU Nurse your duties consist of:

Review the patient's health status and give medications as needed.
Assisting patients with personal needs directly after their medical procedure as they are brought back to consciousness.
Watch the patient's vitals and make certain that no complications are found.
Care for the patients post-op wounds and change bandages as needed.

Requirements

One year of experience as a PACU RN within the past two years.
- Current Nursing License in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
