Manage the successful completion of strategic IT-related projects crossing business teams and departments, while coordinating with different departments, ensuring all needs are met prior to, during, and after installation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)Prepare comprehensive project plans for all IT-related projects.Manage the project on a day-to-day basis and ensure tasks are implemented on time, within budget, and to the required scope and quality. Practice timely and proactive decision-making to ensure the project meets its objectives.Develop, implement and enforce project management processes, including risk and issue management, dependency management, status reporting, change control, etc.Provide regular project status updates to CIO and business owners, including immediate escalation of key issues where necessary.Identify, manage and track dependencies internally within the project, and liaise with dependent projects.Identify and track all project risks and issues, establish target resolution dates and execute mitigation plans.Manage resource plans and forecast financial spending against the budget under the direction of the IT upper management.Manage day-to-day communications with the project team and key stakeholders.Assist IT upper management to develop a business case for a project, get approval for funding and obtain buy-in from key stakeholders.Conduct after-action project reviews and ensure lessons learned from the project are integrated into future projects.Coordinate the development and implementation of training programs to assist in ongoing operations.Must comply with all applicable ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, Standard Operating Procedures, and all Tribal Regulations.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneAccess to Sensitive Areas and InformationAs per the ACGC Access MatrixSignatory AbilityNoneQualificationsEducation and/or Experience University degree in the field of business, information systems, project management, or equivalent experience required.5+ years of direct experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma or equivalent designations preferred. Strong casino or hospitality services industry experience preferredPreferred knowledge of industry-related software, including Agilysys, Infor, Berg Systems, PlayerSoft, IGT Advantage Patron Management. Capable of engaging senior stakeholders across the organization.Credibility and character to manage a diverse team in multiple location environments.Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team membersAssist IT management in prioritizing current and upcoming projects based on available resources. Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagements.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentAbility to work after normal business hours and on weekends as requiredKnowledge and experience in implementing project management processes, methodologies, and tasks, Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project or other Project Management software packageWorking Conditions/Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 - mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
