paramount. POSITION SUMMARY Ensure timely and cost-effective
availability of raw materials, specialty alloys, components, and
outside processing services required to support precision
manufacturing operations. This role supports a high-mix,
engineered-to-order environment serving aerospace, defense, space
and industrial markets where quality, traceability and on-time
delivery are critical. Oversee inventory levels, coordinates with
suppliers, supports production scheduling and helps optimize supply
chain efficiency to meet customer demand and business objectives.
Work cross-functionally with other departments to maintain material
flow, minimize shortages and ensure compliance with customer and
regulatory requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain material requirements plans via material
resource planning (MRP) based on production schedules and
forecasts. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials
(specialty metals), components and outside processing services
(heat treat, etc.) Monitor and report out on inventory levels to
prevent production interruptions while minimizing excess and
obsolete inventory. Manage lot traceability and material
certifications in compliance with aerospace and defense quality
standards. Prepare material cost estimates to measure against
production sales orders for approval of material purchases.
Collaborate with Production Planning to align material availability
with manufacturing capacity. Work closely with Purchasing to
expedite critical materials and resolve supplier delivery issues.
Support engineering changes, new production introductions and
customer-driven design revisions. Analyze demand forecasts, safety
stock levels and lead times to improve planning accuracy. Maintain
accurate data in ERP/MRP systems to ensure system integrity. Track
and report key supply chain metrics such as on-time delivery,
inventory turns and material shortages. Participate in continuous
improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization and
process efficiency. Communicate inventory issues, schedule changes
and/or material cancellations. Demonstrates ability to appear for
work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well
with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures,
comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives,
and accepts constructive feedback. Other duties as assigned,
requested or needed. POSITION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field. 3-5
years material planning/purchasing or supply chain experience,
including ERP/MRP systems or equivalent of education and
experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong and effective
communication skills. Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems in a
manufacturing setting. Solid understanding of inventory control.
Advanced computer and excel skills. Ability to manage priorities in
fast paced, customer driven environment. High level of attention to
detail and thorough completion of work tasks. High attention to
detail, especially in documentation and compliance. The above

salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on
several factors that may include but are not limited to the type
and length of experience within the job, type, and length of
experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
