RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver accurate and fluent ASL interpretation for diverse settings such as corporate meetings, educational sessions, medical facilities, and public events. Adapt interpreting style to meet the specific needs of clients, ensuring clarity and understanding during the interpretation process. Uphold professional standards of confidentiality and integrity while representing Focus Interpreting. Continuously improve language skills and stay updated with advancements in ASL and interpreting practices. Engage in ongoing training and participate in team meetings to enhance service delivery. REQUIREMENTS: Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with excellent English language skills. Certification or formal education in ASL interpretation preferred. Strong knowledge of Deaf culture and community norms. Experience interpreting in various environments is highly desirable. Ability to manage stressful situations while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
